1.Electronic Information Engineering
This specialty is the “Experimental Specialty in National Teaching Renovation program” and was among the first group of specialties to be awarded “ National Elaborate Specialty” and “Key Specialties of the National education Campus Schools”. With the support of the Ministry of Education, this specialty hosts 4-year program for students. The education objective is to cultivate professionals defined as “skilled craftsman at college level and college students with proficient skills”. There are 3 orientations in this specialty, which are Digital Audio & Video, Intelligent Electronics, and Applied Electronics.
Objectives and Features
The diploma in Electronics Engineering equips students with the technology and skills required in the field of manufacturing, service and management of electronic industry. With all-round development of morality, intelligence, physique and aesthetic, graduates are expected to acquire the basic knowledge, application skills and team spirit.

 2.Medical Treatment Electronic engineering
The specialty is a joint education program of Osaka Jikei Group in Japan and our school. The education objective is to cultivate students to be familiar with the basic knowledge in medicine, electronics and computer technology. They are expected to master the skills to operate, maintain, and measure common medical devices in order to meet the needs of the suppliers of medical facilities and medical civil service institutions for high-quality professionals with practical skills.
Objectives
The graduates of this specialty are expected to master the basic theories and the latest technology of electronics, computer systems and interface; to understand the basic knowledge of Chinese and Western medicine and engineering; to master the basic principles, operational techniques and maintenance methods of medical instruments and equipments.


 3.Microelectronics Technique
This specialty maintains good cooperative relations with many enterprises in Integrated Circuit design and manufacture. Its main courses are fundamentals of microelectronics technology, integrated circuit design, microelectronic technique, programmable logic devices, etc. Its educational objective is to cultivate students to be masterful in both microelectronics technology and practical operations. Students, upon graduation, are expected to work competently at the frontline of large-scale IC production companies and microelectronics high-tech corporations.
Objectives
To cultivate applied professionals with comprehensive quality and all-round development of morality, intelligence,physique and aesthetics, who are required to master the knowledge & skill of middle or small scale IC layout and process design, digital system design and the ability to use EDA software in IC layout design.


 4. Electronic Manufacturing Technology and management
This specialty keeps close cooperation with many large international enterprises such as Philips, etc. The education objective is to equip students with fundamentals in electronics and business administration. After 3-year study, they will be competent in production and quality management, manufacture process, process design, marketing and after-sales services in various electronics companies.


 5. Communication Technology
The education objective of this specialty is to cultivate high-quality professionals who are specialized in the production, operation, sales, maintenance, testing, debugging and installation of communication equipments and network facilities with good professional ethics. There are 3 orientations: Switching technology, Optical Fiber Communication, and Data Communication.
Objectives
To cultivate applied professional talents with all-round development in areas including ethics, the intellect, the physique, and aesthetics, and with good comprehensive quality, be familiar with principles of modern communication system, to master the basic theory of modern communication technology, have the ability to operate, inspect, and maintain communication network and equipment as well as the ability to complete construction project, be knowledgeable in manufacturing communication equipment and communication operation in the front line of the producing, management and service section. The specialty has three directions: switching technology, optical fiber communication and data communication.


 6. Mobile Communication Engineering
This specialty is to cultivate students to meet the needs of mobile communication suppliers for professionals who are familiar with modern mobile communication system and working principles of mobile terminal products. They are also expected to grasp the basic knowledge in modern mobile communication technology and capable of managing, operating, testing and maintaining mobile communication system, facilities and terminal products.

The Mobile and Communication Section aims at:

 l   mastering the basic theory of modern communications and applied technology;
 l   being familiar with mobile communication technology and mobile communication system performance and operating principle
 l   being capable of operating, testing and maintaining mobile communication equipment and system;
 l   being possessed with mobile Communication Engineering, installation and construction capabilities;
 l   being skillful of all applications of mobile communications equipment, systems and operating business, management and service;
 l   meeting the needs of the talent market for high-skilled professionals.


 7. Computer Network Technology
This specialty is the “Key Specialty of the National education Campus Schools” and “Model Specialty in Guangdong Province”. Its objective of education is to cultivate students to be specialized in network technology with strong practical ability. After 3 years of study and training, students will be competent to work in the frontline of network technology enterprises. There are 3 orientations in this specialty: Network Integration and Engineering Supervision, Information Security and Network Management, and Network Programming.

The Computer Network Technology Section aims at:

 l   mastering the basic theory of Computer Network and applied technology;
 l   being familiar with computer networking technology and network programming
 l   being capable of constructing, operating, testing and maintaining a medium enterprise computer network;
 l   being possessed with computer network construction and programming capabilities;
 l   being skillful of all applications of computer network equipment, systems, management and service;
 l   Meeting the needs of the talent market for high-skilled professionals.
